The report says that the incident with train number 317 occurred at 10:30 a.m. in the Bershugir station area. According to preliminary data, a passenger train collided with a shunting locomotive. As a result, the diesel locomotive, the first car and three sets of wheels from the second car derailed.
A rescue helicopter flew to the crash site, units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a repair train were sent.
The agency notes that there were more than 200 people on the passenger train: citizens of Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Previously, no one needed hospitalization, the people in the affected carriages were transferred to other carriages of the train.
