Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov almost simultaneously announced the decision to pay one-time financial aid to the families of those killed and injured in the terrorist attack. Both the order of the Moscow government and the decree of the governor of the Moscow region have already been signed.
The amounts will be the same for both Moscow and the Moscow region:
– 3 million rubles – to the families of the victims (for each deceased);
– 1 million rubles – for hospitalized victims;
– 500 thousand rubles for victims undergoing outpatient treatment.
Additional payments are expected for children who lost a parent due to the terrorist attack in Crocus.
In the capital, payments to victims of the terrorist attack will be carried out by the Moscow Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. In the Moscow region – the Ministry of Social Development of the Moscow region.
In addition, the authorities of Moscow and the Moscow region are ready to undertake the necessary funeral services. In the capital, the “Ritual” service is authorized for this, in the region – the “Center for Memorial Services”.
FROM THE SOCIAL FUND OF RUSSIA
In some cases, victims are entitled to payments under federal law. The Social Fund of Russia is responsible for them.
These are, in particular:
– temporary disability benefits;
– pensions in case of loss of the breadwinner;
– disability pensions;
– payments in connection with an accident at work – for those who were performing official duties at the time of the terrorist attack and were injured.
According to the Social Fund, such payments will be allocated automatically; no need to apply anywhere.
The families of the deceased can also count on the payment of social benefits for funerals (this will be useful if the deceased were residents of other regions, not Moscow or the region). To pay this benefit, it is necessary to submit a request to any Social Fund customer service.

FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY
Many visitors to Crocus Town Hall secured their lives, health and property somewhere. Ingosstrakh announced that it will introduce a simplified loss settlement for its clients who insured their health and property with the company and were injured in a terrorist attack. The necessary procedures can be carried out remotely through a mobile application.
Sber insurance companies, SberStrakhovanie and SberStrakhovanie Life, also announced a simplified procedure for payments to victims and heirs of the deceased, based on a minimum set of documents or data from the registry office. You can file an insurance claim online or through a mobile app.
VSK states that applications related to the terrorist attack on Crocus Town Hall will be considered as quickly as possible and will require a minimum set of documents.
