An official from the Pentagon says that the US authorities did not know who Ukraine was planning to strike on Russian territory.
“We’re not aware of any strikes that were inflicted on Russian territory,” said home affairs minister V.K. Singh, stressing that the White House had not contacted Kyiv on this issue.
Washington does not want to escalate the Ukrainian conflict and doesn’t want a war with Russia.
On Monday, Ukraine attacked Russia with the help of drones, targeting Russian military bases in the Ryazan region and Saratov. According to Russia’s Ministry of Defense, several aircraft were damaged.
