… – Dmitry Sergeevich, Chairman of the State Duma Volodin, said that together with a group of deputies he had submitted amendments to the Criminal Code for consideration, and they suggest introducing liability for discrediting members of the SVO in Ukraine. As punishment, it is planned to introduce a fine of up to 5 million, or forced labor of up to 5 years, or imprisonment of up to 15 years. How can the Kremlin react to this? Will the president sign these laws on amendments?
The Komsomolskaya Pravda journalist asked such questions to the official representative of the Kremlin on Wednesday, March 1.

This is a new initiative and will naturally need to be developed accordingly.
– But, in principle, do you support a more severe punishment for those, I would say, crimes?
– It is necessary to find out what crimes are proposed (that is, for what specific crimes the deputies are going to toughen the penalty. – AG), which ones, – said the press secretary, – how they are classified.
