In Moscow they said goodbye to Alexander Shirvindt. At the Satire Theatre, fans and celebrities brought flowers to the coffin of the actor, who died in hospital on March 15 at the age of 90.
Alexander Shirvindt was friends with many stars during his life. Therefore, it is not surprising that there was no crowd at the funeral ceremony. The people closest to the popular artist gathered at the Satire Theater, directed by the maestro. Colleagues and hundreds of fans came to say goodbye to him.
Klara Novikova, Vera Alentova, Yulia Menshova, Nikas Safronov, Alexandra Zakharova, Ivan Urgant and his wife Natalya Kiknadeze, Gennady Khazanov and Philip Kirkorov said goodbye for the last time. The cousin was completely crushed by pain. She burst into tears.

“His death is an irreparable loss for me. I realized that he was seriously ill. What a tragedy…” – said Philip, sobbing and holding back sobs.
The funeral began at 1:00 p.m. Everyone was allowed into the theater.
Leonid Yarmolnik did not speak to anyone and immediately approached the coffin. Then came Leonid Kanevsky and Igor Kostolevsky.
“It’s sad when an entire era, an entire civilization disappears… It’s very difficult to accept this. He was a man who everyone loved! Everyone adored him. Sasha was a magnificent artist and an incredible person,” Kostolevsky lamented.
