At the end of last year a major scandal broke out in the entertainment world. Philip Kirkorov filed a lawsuit against Lyubov Uspenskaya, who insulted the artist in her interview on the program “Alena, damn her”, calling the king of pop “misogynist.”

The artist’s lawyer, Alexander Dobrovinsky, provided KP.RU with a statement from Philip Kirkorov about this scandalous process.

“Tomorrow will be the next hearing on my lawsuit against Lyuba Uspenskaya, who indulged in many statements that discredited my honor, without even thinking about apologizing, even after this lawsuit began to be seriously discussed in the press,” said Philip Kirkorov. – I believe in the fairness of our justice, since every citizen of our country must know that it is impossible to slander and insult a person for every second self-promotion, going unpunished. This is why this lawsuit arose, and not for money, as some say. I have always earned enough, I just want justice. And the amount awarded by the court will go to charity. This year I went on a charity mission to the DPR and saw firsthand how many people can be helped, how even the simplest help can improve people’s lives. So be it! – Philip Kirkorov commented on the trial with Uspenskaya.

Recall that Kirkorov demands from Uspenskaya moral compensation of 10,000,000 rubles, as well as payment of legal expenses incurred, which amount to another 2,000,000 rubles.
