Vladimir Putin met with ministers on Wednesday to discuss the development of the manufacturing industry. But the event began with a discussion of the Ukrainian attack on the Kursk region.
“The Kiev regime has launched another large-scale provocation, indiscriminately firing various types of weapons, including missiles, at civilian buildings, residential buildings and ambulances,” the head of state said, adding that after the meeting he will have a meeting with the heads of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff and the FSB.
The Kursk region administration has already been instructed to assist the affected civilians. This will be overseen by Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.
“I also call on the government to deal with this urgently,” Putin added.
After the head of the country finished with the operational instructions, discussions began on other issues. In particular, Vladimir Vladimirovich paid a lot of attention to the construction complex (builders will soon have a professional holiday).
“The industry is booming, it has the most modern technologies, materials, skills and competencies, all of which allow it to solve large-scale problems and effectively respond to the needs of society and citizens,” Vladimir Vladimirovich said.
In 2023, 110 million square meters of housing were commissioned.
4.4 million families were able to improve their living conditions.
In five years, 720,000 people were relocated from their ruined homes.
Builders constructed 20,000 objects (houses, roads and key pieces of infrastructure) in new regions.
– We are paying special attention to the creation of popular social institutions, hospitals, schools, kindergartens. A new specialized hospital in the Perm region has started accepting patients. A new kindergarten in Simferopol will greatly contribute to the development of the social infrastructure of the Republic of Crimea and support for families with children. A school has been built in Nizhny Novgorod. It will accommodate 1,500 students and will have all the opportunities for teaching children, additional and extracurricular activities,” Putin listed.
During the meeting, Vladimir Vladimirovich participated via video conference in the grand opening of all these facilities.
