“Plus Studio” has launched a “Punk Culture” themed clothing line. The King and the Jester” on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition of the same name. Items can be purchased in the exhibition merchandising store, as well as exclusively online at Yandex Market and, for the first time, directly from the page from the series on Kinopoisk.
The licensed collection was developed by the creative group Plus Studios and the Planet9 office. The main part of the clothing line includes a raincoat, T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and caps. Accessories include bags, picks and socks. Items supporting the punk DIY philosophy are also available in the exhibition shop: pens, a sketchbook for drawing, patches, badges, posters and sticker packs.
In addition, it will be possible to buy sweets: lollipops in the form of a Mohawk and MonPunksier “Punks not dead”, as well as handmade jester hats. The products will be delivered in parts to the exhibition merchandising store, and the store’s assortment will be updated throughout the exhibition period, until May 31.
Conceptually, the collection, as well as the exhibition “Punk culture. King and Jester”, divided into two parts. Several prints are inspired by punk icons Sid Vicious and Vivienne Westwood and feature recognizable elements. Other engravings refer to the group “Korol i Shut” and to the television series of the same name. Work on the collection began from the moment filming began. First, an identity was developed: a logo and fonts.
Previously, a series about the cult punk band the Sex Pistols was released. It is based on the memoir “Lonely Boy” by the band’s guitarist, Steve Jones. You can watch the trailer for the show here.
