According to the collective agreement “PMU”, parents of first grade students are entitled to one day off if the employee’s work shift falls on the day of the festive assembly.
– Entering first grade is a new stage in life for children and parents. To make it easier for employees to prepare for school, the employer takes on some of the concerns. We provide basic stationery needs for first-graders and allow parents to bring their children to school for the first time. Thus, the beginning of the school year really becomes a family holiday,” says Irina Sharkevich, Deputy Head of the PMU Department of JSC Uralchem for Social and Personnel Policy.
On Knowledge Day, the company’s trade union committee organizes a trip to the confectionery factory for first-graders. Children will see the process of making cakes and will be able to make a sweet treat themselves, which they can then take home as a gift to their loved ones.
The social package for employees of the PMU subsidiary of JSC UCC Uralchem includes more than a dozen measures to support parenthood and childhood. In addition to packages for first-graders, employees’ children receive New Year gifts and participate in corporate and sports events of the company.
