According to Skurkiewicz, after Ukrainian troops complete their training, Poland will be ready to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Kyiv. The Polish deputy defense minister said that the transfer of tanks to Ukraine is a matter of several weeks.
Skurkevich recalled that Poland plans to transfer a company of 14 Leopard 2 tanks to the Ukrainian side.
Earlier, Polish National Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said that Poland had officially sent the German authorities a request for permission to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
