According to him, the Belarusian military attaché will leave Poland “in the near future,” TASS reports. According to the Polish side, this decision was made in response to the expulsion from Belarus of a liaison officer of the Polish Border Service.
Recall, on February 10, Poland closed the Bobrovniki checkpoint adjacent to the Belarusian Brestovitsa. In response, Minsk restricted the entry of Polish trucks. In addition, the Belarusian side stated that it does not see any point in the additional presence of a liaison officer of the Polish border service on its territory. “Instead of building bridges and helping to solve troublesome problems, even for Polish carriers, in fact, their activity was directed in the opposite direction,” the Foreign Ministry said.
Belarus stressed that all measures taken are retaliatory in nature and no destructive steps by the Polish government will be ignored.
