On October 1, it became known about the death of the famous composer and folk artist of Russia Vyacheslav Dobrynin. In recent years, the 78-year-old author of the hits “Farewell”, “Blue Fog”, “Witching Lake” and many others has been seriously ill. Dobrynin died after a third stroke, due to which the composer’s brain tissue was damaged and he himself became partially paralyzed.
Vyacheslav Grigorievich was an important part of our show business. He also worked with the popular vocal and instrumental ensemble “Gems”, in which the singer Elena Presnyakova participated. His son, Vladimir Presnyakov Jr., remembered those times and had kind words to say about Dobrynin. The singer shared with journalists a story from his childhood a couple of days before the death of the eminent composer at the “Successful Songs” festival.
“I still call him Uncle Slava because I have been with him since I was five years old. I remember how he came to the Gems, they sang his songs and he played with me. I was five years old. And, of course, this is sacred to me,” Vladimir Presniakov Jr. told reporters.
