Over the past year, trade missions have been held in Sochi, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo. These business trips became possible thanks to the well-coordinated work of the Primorye Tourist Information Center and the regional center “My Business”.
In all places, the people of Primorye talked about new excursions, routes, hotels, gastronomic opportunities, active recreation offers, citing successful cases as examples.
Among the attractive moments that are decisive when choosing trips to the region are the wild nature with its inhabitants, numerous sporting, cultural and gastronomic events, visits to unique marine farms where you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of unity with nature, the Nearby Asian countries. Of great interest is the mention of the eastern borders of the country, the outpost of Russia and the base of the Pacific Fleet. Representing the region, the speakers take into account the target audience, the sophistication of the modern tourist and the financial capabilities of future travelers.
Today, knowledge of the Primorsky Territory is increasingly going beyond the borders of Vladivostok. Travel companies during trade missions also promote the regions, positioning not only the south, but also the north. Guests of the region can relax “at home”, get acquainted with the history of the region through gastronomy, culture and crafts of small towns, immigrants, Old Believers, see how ginseng grows and “try on” the tiger footprint, go fishing and learn the signs of a shaman’s fate, try the gifts of the taiga and seas.
“Our task is to show the possibilities of Primorye, to meet with partners who are determined to create a new tourism product. Tourists have studied the western regions far and wide, many go to the same place out of habit, not feeling new. We are more attractive to them. Every “entrepreneurial mission” is an investment in the future. Working in this format is a statement about yourself. The main thing is to “sow the seed”: arouse interest, inspire them with our beauties and various activities and attract them to us in Primorye,” said Anna Filimonova, executive director of the regional branch of Primorsky PCT.
The seed has been sown. And managed to give young shoots. Vladivostok has already received groups of children from Yakutia and Novy Urengoy. Guests from Moscow and St. Petersburg, from various regions of the Far East went on boat trips, people from Crimea came, and there were more Siberian tourists. The group was received as part of the MICE events with the formation of a tour of Primorye and Sakhalin. Requests are gradually coming from the Russian regions: tourists want to see the inhabitants of nature, enjoy the taste of seafood and relax on the coast in September.
