King Carl is ready to extend an olive branch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by allowing them to stay at Buckingham Palace during their coronation visit and on subsequent visits to the UK. The Daily Mail writes about it.
Harry and Meghan must leave Frogmore House, located near Windsor Castle. For several hundred years, the cottage was considered the home of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The king made this decision after the release of Prince Harry’s autobiographical book “Spare” (in the original – “Spare”).
Instead, they could be offered the former apartments of Prince Andrew, Duke of York at Buckingham Palace, where he once hosted model Caprice and disgraced socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.
Frogmore House was offered by Charles III to Prince Andrew, who was forced to vacate the 30-bedroom Royal Lodge, which he had occupied for over 20 years. And at Royal Lodge, in turn, Prince William and his family can move in. The Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children currently live in the much smaller Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, which is deemed “unsuitable” for the long term.
It was previously learned that Harry Styles, Elton John and the Spice Girls refused to perform at the coronation of Carlos III, which will take place on May 7. The artists explained their decision by a busy schedule.
