Comrades Russian women! The time has come for all of you to express your solidarity with the Ukrainians and pity them. No, not because, deceived by propaganda and power, they send their children into bags of fire to be killed. And for the reason that now they are deprived, unlike Russian women, of their favorite holiday – International Women’s Day on March 8.
This year it has not been canceled yet, just according to the calendar, the holiday falls on Wednesday, which means that it was supposed to be an extra day off, but under martial law, all extra days off are canceled. So Ukrainian women will have to do without holidays this year. And the next one won’t be. Of course, in the event that by that time Ukraine still exists.
In mid-February, a bill was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the abolition of a number of Soviet holidays, which are not worth celebrating “only Ukrainians”. “Anti-Ukrainian” holidays are recognized as March 8, May 1, and May 9.
“Changes are being made to eliminate the legacy of the colonial past in cultural life and daily life, to cleanse the state calendar of dates imposed by the past,” says the explanatory note to the bill.
“On the contrary, we consider it more appropriate to celebrate ‘Ukrainian Women’s Day’ on February 25 in honor of the birthday of the Ukrainian poetess Lesya Ukrainka. Instead of March 8, it is necessary to celebrate the memory of the great kobzar Taras Shevchenko in his birthday, March 9. It may be necessary to cancel the celebration of Labor Day on May 1 and Victory Day on May 9,” the lawmakers write.
Only this year, February 25 has already passed, and for the next year in Ukraine they can remember that Lesya Ukrainka was still a Marxist and even the first to translate Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels into the Ukrainian “Communist Manifesto”, and therefore not it will be necessary to glorify it and vice versa – to decommunize.
Then only Taras’s birthday will be celebrated at the state level.
As for the rest of the holiday, there is no cognitive dissonance here, everything is built logically. What kind of workers’ solidarity day can be in Ukraine, in common parlance? Labor Day, if there is practically no such work on Nezalezhnaya. The country lives on allocated foreign aid, throws out creditors and investors (moreover, this was even before the start of the NWO, it is enough to recall the story of a Russian loan or a Chinese company that invested in Motor Sich). Swindler’s Day – this is, please, the Day of the dreamer, the Day of the Nazi Flag, but you never know what holidays they can still come up with in kyiv.
But Labor Day, as well as Victory Day, is now definitely not theirs. For them, May 9 is no longer a holiday, but a “day of sorrow and mourning.” In a country where they honor Bandera, whom they call the Father of the Nation, where they rename the streets of the capital in honor of the executioners of Babi Yar… Indeed, this same Senka does not wear such a hat. This is not his vacation.
