PSB carried out the first cash withdrawal operations in the DPR at the checkout counters of retail outlets

Date: April 18, 2024 Time: 07:42:05

PSB Bank has expanded the possibilities of cash withdrawal from bank cards for the population of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Now you can get money not only at ATMs – there are already several hundred of them – but also in retail stores. In particular, the first transactions were carried out at the cashiers of the largest network of gas stations in the DPR. As explained in the bank, it is beneficial both for the population and for companies.

– The service we are launching will be in demand both by our acquiring partners in the small and medium-sized business segment and by their customers. For example, a company can not only minimize collection volumes, but also increase the loyalty of its customers, who receive another tool for withdrawing cash from their bank cards, in addition to ATMs, – explained Alexander Bobrik, branch manager from PSB in Donetsk.

The service works as follows. The issuance of cash to holders of bank cards issued by both PSB and other Russian banks occurs simultaneously with the purchase. The customer pays for a product or service with a card and then requests an additional cash withdrawal from their account. The amount issued in cash is paid immediately to the owner of the establishment in full and without commissions. For one transaction, the buyer can receive up to 5,000 rubles in cash per day, but not more than 30,000 rubles per month per card.

– With the further development of the service, we will provide the possibility of withdrawing cash in small and remote settlements, close to home, without going to a bank branch or payment terminal, – adds Alexander Bobrik.

PSB is working to scale the cash withdrawal service at the checkout to other companies and retail outlets in new regions of Russia.
