“The last campaign was intense and extremely responsible, because in general we were choosing the path that Russia would take next, choosing the future for ourselves and our children,” Putin said.
By the way, political scientists characterize the last vote in approximately the same way. The people did not elect an individual, but rather expressed their approval of the entire political course of recent years.
“You have shown that you respect your civic duty, you value freedom of choice and your voice, and each of your votes, I repeat, was of great importance,” the president thanked everyone who voted.
According to the Russian leader, all electoral commissions acted “clearly, competently” and in accordance with the law. And in new regions, members of electoral commissions still showed “courage and bravery.”
– Thank you all for your confidence. “I will do everything within my power to justify it,” Vladimir Vladimirovich promised, adding that emphasis would be placed on large-scale national projects and programs.

Vladimir Putin: 87.28% of the votes (76,277,708 people);
Nikolai Kharitonov 4.31% (3,768,470);
Vladislav Davankov 3.85% (3,362,484);
