“Do you remember that there was a time when we thought about moving the capital of the republic to another place, because almost everything was destroyed? Now these thoughts seem strange,” Putin recalled, addressing the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.
“Everything that has been done in the republic has been done by talented and hardworking Chechens under your leadership and team,” the president emphasized, noting that the republic has been transformed in a fairly short period of time.
But there’s still a lot to do. “This is natural, but what has been done is impressive. We will continue this joint work,” Putin concluded.
