As you know, every wish is good for its realization. On December 22, Vladimir Putin participated (for the fifth time) in the Wishing Tree event. At the exhibition of youth projects in the Manege, the president took three balls with children’s wishes from the festive tree.

One of them was from a girl from the Zaporozhye region, Alexandra Titorenko. The schoolgirl wrote that she wanted to visit the Crimea and the house of Santa Claus.

“The girl, together with her parents, flew to Veliky Ustyug, went around the city with a tour and met with the New Year’s wizard,” the Kremlin said.

Today the head of the country called Sasha to find out how everything went.

– What do you think of Santa Claus? Sashenka, say hello to mom and dad. Will you send it to me too, I know you grow cucumbers, tomatoes…? Will you send me cucumbers? Yeah, I’m also looking forward to your New Year’s gifts, okay? said the Russian leader.

Balls of three colors were hung on the Wishing Christmas Tree: blue – with the wishes of military children, green – with the small residents of the new regions of Russia, and red – with the wishes of children with special needs.

The second wish that Putin promised to fulfill was for a girl from the Kurgan region who dreams of riding reindeer and seeing the northern lights.

The third is from David Shmelev from the Stavropol Territory. A 6-year-old boy wanted to visit the Military Academy of the Armed Forces.

The All-Russian charity event “Christmas Tree of Wishes” has been held since 2018. Its goal is to give a feeling of New Year’s magic to children and the elderly who find themselves in a difficult life situation. Every year thousands of caring people fulfill their wishes: both ordinary citizens and the first people of the state. For all the time, the wishes of more than 60 thousand participants in the action were fulfilled, about 500 million rubles were spent on gifts.
