This management will be assumed by a new specialized government commission. It will be headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov. The Cabinet of Ministers has until February 15, 2023 to form a commission.
On June 1, the government must approve a strategy for the development of drones for the period until 2030 and for the future until 2035. The document will determine priority areas for the development of drones, measures for the development of their mass production. To implement all plans in this area, the government will prepare a national project for the period up to 2030 before September 1 next year.
The Bank of Russia, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Transport, has been recommended to create an insurance system for unmanned aerial systems and civil liability of persons operating them by July 1.
