Vladimir Putin spoke about how the Ukrainian offensive is being carried out on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa summit.
– The so-called counteroffensive began on July 4. This is evidenced by the use of strategic reserves. As for the past few days, fighting has intensified significantly. The main clashes took place in the direction of the main attack, in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, the president said.
He said the main blow falls on the 810th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet and the 71st Regiment of the 42nd Division of the 58th Army of the Southern Military District.
“Without exaggeration, I can say: our soldiers and officers have demonstrated the best examples of mass heroism,” the Supreme Commander-in-Chief emphasized.
According to the president, Ukraine has brought “a large number of armored vehicles” against us. 50 different cars.
– 39 units – 26 tanks and 13 armored vehicles – were destroyed. 60% were destroyed by personnel, 40% by fighter jets,” Putin said.

Vladimir Vladimirovich explained that the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost about 200 people.
