On Thursday, Vladimir Putin received the head of Mordovia, Artem Zdunov, in the Kremlin.
– In terms of industrial production, last year we had a growth of 3.5 in the country, and you had 8, the republic compares favorably. And in agriculture the result is even better, in contrast to the results of the country as a whole, – the president praised the head of the region from the very beginning.
– We are working on a single agenda for the country. Of course, the priority is to support the Northern Military District, to support our soldiers and their families. That is why our industry, our agriculture, all sectors and the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation are working on this main task,” Zdunov replied.

* Doctors, utilities workers and builders from Mordovia are constantly working in the Kalanchak district of the Kherson region. Recently, a chapel was opened in a new district.
* The country’s state debt is declining: in three years it has decreased by approximately 10% of local GDP.
“For the first time in many years, the Ministry of Finance has recognized us as “adequate” in managing the republic’s finances,” Zdunov said.
* Productivity is increasing.
“We buy mineral fertilizers on time, we apply them on time and we control the quality of the products produced,” the Republican leader stressed.
* Putin also asked about camps for schoolchildren.
– How are children’s holidays organized?
– We send our own people (on vacation – Ed.), we have prepared all the camps together with the regulatory authorities. People traditionally come to us from Novorossiya, people come to us from Belgorod. And the most important thing: pay attention to employment, patriotic education, GTO standards and knowledge of history,” Zdunov stressed.
A first aid championship for teachers was organised in Mordovia. Usually, local authorities are actively involved in this issue; older people should be prepared, as an ambulance may not always arrive quickly.
* A separate hospital for those wounded during the special operation has been established in the republic. On the basis of the departments of orthopaedics, hospital surgery, traumatology, rehabilitation and adaptation of the local medical university, a clinic is being created that will primarily care for soldiers.
In the end, Zdunov said that Admiral Fyodor Ushakov was buried on the territory of the republic. A biographical film about the life of the naval commander is planned. In 1812, a military man in the territory of present-day Mordovia took part in the mobilization of the people’s militia.
– And there were the same problems, and the same people, and there were the same challenges, and there were the same insidious enemies, but I overcame everything, this situation. And in Mordovia he is no longer known even as an admiral, but as a person who was religious and worked with the people, with the people,” the head of the region noted.
