Already the debut “Reservoir Dogs” became a huge success, and “Pulp Fiction” in general changed American cinema. Tarantino wrote the script in Amsterdam, on his first trip to Europe, and was genuinely surprised that a quarter-pound cheeseburger was called a “real cheeseburger” there.
