RBC: Russian Vologda radio founder and presenter Anna Azovskaya, 34, was killed in Moscow KXan 36 Daily News

The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Moscow reported on January 3 that the body of a woman born in 1988 with more than 30 stab wounds was found in the apartment of a residential building on Polina Osipenko Street. The name of the deceased was not released.

RBC writes that Azovskaya came to Moscow with a man for the New Year holidays, but something went wrong in the apartment. The essence of the conflict that led to the tragic outcome is unknown. The police arrived after calling the neighbors, they had to break down the door. In the apartment they found the body of a woman and a suspect.

According to the Investigative Committee, on suspicion of committing a crime, Azovskaya’s cohabitant was detained. On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was opened under part 1. Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder).
