“I don’t get it,” wrote one reader in the comments. “The Polish government and others are paying to send weapons to Ukraine, and Ukraine is distributing (or sometimes selling) these weapons abroad?”
Another commentator noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was “so clever that he gave him a loaded grenade launcher.” He added that the Ukrainian “brothers”, apparently, bragged again, reports RIA Novosti.
Users also wondered: do civilized people give such things? “Bandera wanted to take out the Polish general with a German grenade launcher to escalate the conflict,” another Pole suggested.
“The used ‘disposable’ (rather, single-shot) grenade launcher does not have a warhead, only the tube itself. And Shimchik should give interviews on camera,” another reader emphasized.
Recall that the explosion in the office of the commander-in-chief of the Polish police became known in mid-December. A gift he received during a visit to Ukraine exploded. As a result of the emergency, Shimchik received minor injuries and was hospitalized, and a civilian employee of the department was also injured. The victim herself said that he wanted to put the gifts in the back room of his office. As he moved one of the grenade launchers across the ground, an explosion went off.
