As the company’s press service informed RG, users are now recommended not only cafes and restaurants, but also parks, cinemas, museums and other places for relaxation and exploring the city. They are collected in the new sections “Have fun” and “Take a walk”.
New sections are available on the main screen of the mode. By clicking on the “Entertainment” button, users will see a map of entertainment venues they might like, such as concert halls, water parks, and clubs. And in the “Take a walk” section, there are interesting places to explore: parks, attractions, and observation decks. This way, users can discover interesting places in unknown areas and unusual urban landmarks.
With the new feature, each place on the map has a photo and a title created by YandexGPT – the neural network will briefly tell you about the place and its features. To study the atmosphere in more detail, you can go to the “Broadcast” section, where recommendations are collected in the form of a story.
The new mode is available in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. With this update, it also appeared in Kaliningrad, Sochi and Sirius, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnoyarsk and Kazan. The list of cities will be expanded in the near future.
