Redeia (formerly known as Red Eléctrica) has obtained a net profit of 664.7 million euros in 2022 from the Stock Market (CNMV).
The company’s gross operating result (Ebitda) reached 1,491.3 million euros last year, with a decrease of 0.5% compared to 2021, which is explained by the regularization of transport income for the years 2016 -2022, the higher expenses related to the maintenance of critical assets and the higher cost of personnel for the provision associated with the signing of a new collective agreement.
Redeia’s net operating result (Ebit) stood at 961.5 million euros in 2022, 3.1% less, while the company’s turnover increased 3.2% in the year, to 2,015 million euros. Redeia has informed that it will propose to the ordinary general meeting of shareholders the payment, in the first days of July, of a complementary dividend charged to the results of 2022 of 0.727 euros per share.
This amount, together with the 0.272 euros per share paid to shareholders on January 9, will bring the total dividend paid by Redeia out of 2022 results to 1 euro per share.
