The video reveals the plot of the picture about how the red wizards created an army of the undead. The main characters have to solve this problem.
Leading the party is a slime played by the brutal Michelle Rodriguez and a wisecracking bard played by Chris Pine. Also in the cast Justice Smith (“Pokemon. Detective Pikachu”), Rege-Jean Page (“Bridgertons”), Sophia Lillis (“It”), Hugh Grant (“Gentlemen”), Jason Wong (“The Wrath of Man” ), Daisy Head (“Ninth”) and others.
The film’s script is based on the famous Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. He often appears in various modern culture media projects. Some of its elements in one way or another were used, for example, in the show “Very Stranger Things” or in the animated series “Gravity Falls”. Because of this, some images or tropes from the trailer, such as Vecna or the transition between worlds through the “hole”, may be familiar to the viewer.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time the Dungeons & Dragons story has been brought to the big screen. The previous film adaptation, which can be called serious, was made in 2000, but the project was not destined to become a commercial success, although it spawned a couple of direct-to-video sequels.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is scheduled for a worldwide release on March 2, 2023.
