Renault appoints Fabrice Cambolive as CEO of the firm

Fabrice Cambolive will be the new CEO of the brand As explained by Renault in a statement, Cambolive will work from his new position with the Renault management committee to “consolidate” the sustainable and profitable development of the brand. He will also contribute to the firm’s transformation, with the launch of 14 new vehicles by 2025, and its expansion in Europe and internationally.

The CEO of the Renault group has been “proud” that Cambolive takes the reins of the Renault brand. “His commitment to him, his experience and his deep knowledge of the group will allow him to continue guaranteeing the progress of the brand. I am counting on him for the profound transformation that the Renault brand will undergo in the coming years,” he stressed.

Fabrice Cambolive, 54, graduated from the TBS Education business school in Toulouse (France). He joined Renault in 1992 and for twenty years held various international sales and marketing positions in Spain, Switzerland, France, Germany and Romania.

His international career continued in 2011 following his appointment as director of Sales and Marketing for the Eurasia and Renault Russia region, before being appointed CEO of Renault Brazil in 2015. In 2017, he was promoted to director of Operations for the Africa Region , Middle East, Asia and the Pacific.

Already in 2021 he became director of Sales and Operations of the Renault brand, in charge of deploying Renault’s strategy in all markets and transforming the brand’s business model. In May 2022, Fabrice Cambolive was appointed COO of the Renault brand.
