More than 2,700 representatives of authorities, the business community, international organizations and the media will participate in the business program of the II Eurasian Economic Forum on May 24 and 25 in Moscow. The forum will be held under the theme “Eurasian Integration in a Multipolar World”. Within the framework of the EEF-2023, around 35 business sessions will be held. The key event will be the plenary session of the Forum.
“Of the more than 2,700 forum guests who confirmed their participation, there are more than 500 foreign representatives from 54 states. The discussions at the forum are aimed at developing specific practical solutions aimed at the comprehensive economic development of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and the countries of the Eurasian region. At the same time, the forum will become a platform for business dialogue: more than 650 business representatives from more than 450 companies will participate in it,” said Alexei Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
Representatives of the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the International Organization for Migration are also expected to participate in the forum events.
One of the key discussions will take place within the framework of the strategic block session “EAEU Priorities 2030+”, which will be attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko , Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk, Chairman of the EEC Board Mikhail Myasnikovich, Member of the Board (Minister) of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Sergey Glazyev. The main theme of the session is the discussion of the main integration interaction vectors for the period up to 2030 and 2045.
The II Eurasian Economic Forum is held within the framework of the presidency of the Russian Federation in the bodies of the EAEU in 2023, its objective is to improve cooperation ties in the Eurasian space.
