As a source from the emergency services told TASS, thick smoke is heading towards a residential building. Because of this, it was decided to evacuate the residents, the source said.
The press service of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry reported that a laboratory had gone to the scene of the fire to take air samples.
According to updated data, the fire in a restaurant at 1 Volkonsky street, building 15 started at 09:31. The initial area was 50 square meters, then it grew to 180 “squares”. There was a collapse of burning roofs.
There were no people inside the building. There were no reports of casualties.
