Retro-style cruise ship “Aurum” was built in Astrakhan – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Date: July 18, 2024 Time: 04:38:48

Looking at the ship, I immediately remember the film “Cruel Romance” by Eldar Ryazanov, where a ship with a wheel in the middle flickers. The retro style of “Aurum” is consistent only in the external design. The motor boat is quite modern and its special design allows it to “get closer” to coasts where there is not enough depth, enter medium and small rivers of Russia, and also pass under urban bridges.

These boats are designed for 180 passengers. And in addition to comfortable cabins of various classes, including those with terraces and jacuzzis, tourists will be able to sunbathe on the terrace and relax in the SPA salon.

After launch, “Aurum” was shipped to the customer in Nizhny Novgorod. Already in June of this year, the ship will begin operating on the circular cruise route “Moscow around the world” and will sail along the Volga and Oka.

As reported to RG by the company that will operate the ship, the Moscow Around the World route has been revived in a new format with a unique excursion program that will allow you to visit the cities of the Golden Ring. These are Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Uglich, Dubna, Moscow, Shchurovo (Kolomna), Ryazan, Kasimov, Murom, Pavlovo, Nizhny Novgorod.

Along the Moscow River, tourists will be able to pass under all the bridges from the northern to the southern river stations of the capital. From the water you can see the main attractions of Moscow. Famous bridges: “Crimea”, “Great Moskvoretsky”, “Patriarchal”, Sparrow Hills, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the Kremlin, Red Square and the elevated bridge, and also visit the Novospassky and Simonovsky monasteries.

You will be able to take cruises on the Aurum starting June 21. Prices for 5-day tours start from 56 thousand rubles. A ten-day cruise with a stop in the Moscow Kremlin and visits to almost a dozen Russian cities will cost 136 thousand rubles.
