As the agency source noted, two caches with ammunition were discovered during operational activities in the village of Svetlichnoye. They were intended for Ukrainian saboteurs to carry out terrorist attacks on the territory of the LPR during the New Year holidays.
In the destroyed building of a local school, 10 mines with a caliber of 82 millimeters and 24 high-explosive fragmentation and cumulative shells with a caliber of 125 millimeters were found. All ammunition was destroyed on the spot.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Guard special forces discovered a large cache of weapons on the territory of the former Azovstal plant in Mariupol. In the room where the command post of the national Azov battalion (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) was located, there were about 650 ammunition.
