The interlocutor said that in the course of work on the Legionnaire, various systems were created, including weapons and life support systems. And now another, completely new direction has appeared – a robotic support system.
So, the new generation kit will receive a drone and robot control system, the data of which will be displayed on the fighter’s helmet.
Earlier it was reported that the Legionnaire should replace the Ratnik equipment complex. It will include an armored helmet with an augmented reality system. In addition, the helmet will be equipped with sensors that will allow the soldier to understand if a sniper is targeting him or if a precision weapon is targeting his position.
The OPK is also considering the possibility of creating an “iron man” composite armor suit for the Legionnaire, which can fully protect the fighter’s body.
