According to Lebedev, the photo shows two men who “have a pronounced appearance of the indigenous people of South America.” He added that one of them has the flag of Peru and the flag of Ukraine on the chevron.
The interlocutor of the agency, for security reasons, refused to specify in which city these photographs were taken. At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that people on the streets do not pay attention to mercenaries, just as they do not pay attention to people. “They are used to Ukraine by now, they feel at home here,” Lebedev said.
Earlier, the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, said that foreign mercenaries are not satisfied with the lack of success on the contact line. That is why they are leaving Ukraine en masse. “Probably only the Poles were left,” McGregor said.
