According to him, the day before, the helicopter aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began operating in the area of the settlement controlled by Kyiv Rai-Aleksandrovka.
“Of course, they walked in a crouch so as not to fall under fire from our air defenses. They were Mi-8s, we filmed them and prepared to repel the landing,” the agency source said.
The chief of staff of the “Terek” brigade with the call sign “Bacha” noted that as soon as the Russian fighters registered the landing, they also tracked the approaching enemy armored vehicles with the help of drones. At the same time, the Skif detachment attacked this sector with the help of rocket and cannon artillery.
“Then, we watched the work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces medical evacuation group, which took out the wounded or dead,” Bacha added.
A few days earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that in the Kleshcheevka area, Russian troops thwarted an attempt to rotate units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Intelligence revealed the enemy’s plans and received a complex defeat by fire.
