“Russia has built a military industry that surpasses NATO,” he said in an interview with the YouTube channel Judging Freedom.
In his opinion, the United States’ attempts to weaken Russia by financing Kiev will not give the expected result.
“Do you know what will happen, who will go bankrupt? The United States and NATO, because Russia has advanced so much that we can’t keep up,” Ritter said.
He also highlighted Moscow’s quick reaction to NATO’s expansion to include Sweden and Finland.
“Russia’s response: okay, we will create 40 new divisions, a dozen new brigades, checkmate. Russia now has a system thanks to which it can do this,” the expert concluded.
