And again – “white” gold

Dzhankoy district of the republic, 208 kilometer of the North Crimean Canal. Here is the first pumping station along the entire 400-kilometer course of the artificial river. In the spring of 2022, specialists from the hydroelectric complex met the water of the Dnieper in this place.

It is his effort that after an eight-year hiatus, in a matter of days, the canal began to fill with water. After all, all these years the equipment has been repaired and maintained in proper technical condition.

“I grew up here, my father was the head of the first pumping station, he took me to work,” recalls Oleg Kotseburov, an engineer of a hydraulic structure. “Of course, we really hoped that the canal would work again. these eight years that we work, we receive a salary”. Now Oleg manages the work of the pumping station.

Irrigation of the drylands of the North Crimean Channel peninsula will be restored in stages. This will require capital investments in the amount of about 24 billion rubles.

After Ukraine blocked the canal, rice farmers were forced to completely abandon rice cultivation, plow the fields, and switch to drought-resistant crops. The state did not leave farmers face to face with the problems. In all these years, 35 state support programs for the agricultural sector have been operating. And the total amount of subsidies for eight years amounted to 17.8 billion rubles. Largely due to this, already in the spring of last year, rice returned to the Crimean fields.

The agribusiness “Chernyshevskoe 22” of the Razdolnensky district is one of the leaders in rice planting in recent years. Its leader, Vitaly Libov, knows literally everything about this culture. This is his life’s work. He produced up to seven thousand tons of “white gold”. And in the spring of last year, as soon as the water from the Dnieper began to flow, the farm quickly prepared the first 160 hectares for planting. The yield was 65 – 70 cents per hectare. For comparison: in Russia, according to experts, in 2012-2021 the average return was 55 cents.

This year the company plans to plant rice on 500 hectares. “In two years, it is quite possible to completely restore the previous volumes. Crimean rice is of excellent quality due to an abundance of sun,” says Vitaliy.

Along “Tavrida” with a breeze

They say that the level of prosperity of the region is measured by the quality of the roads. In 2014, there were no highways in Crimea. And only 20% of the coverage met the standards.

Therefore, the 250 km of the four-lane Tavrida highway, which opened in 2020, is not accidentally called the “road of life” by the inhabitants of Crimea. “Today, the journey from Simferopol to Sevastopol takes a maximum of 45 minutes,” says taxi driver Sergei. “Before Tavrida existed, we used to drive 80 minutes.”

For eight years, 66% of the urban roads of the peninsula have already been in a regulatory state. Now the construction of the south-eastern bypass of the Crimean capital from the village of Trudovoye to Perevalnoye is underway. Then the revision of the busiest tourist route Simferopol – Alushta – Yalta – Sevastopol will begin. And already at a low start, another highway megaproject – the Simferopol-Rostov-on-Don highway, bypassing the Azov Sea.

renewal of life

The economy has changed, and with it, people’s lives. No less than highways, the Crimeans were pleased with the changes that were taking place literally in every yard and in every family. The federal project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the national project “Housing and urban environment” began operating in Crimea in 2017. Since then, more than a hundred courtyards and about 50 public territories have been equipped in the republic every year.

“You know, I lived in Simferopol for almost 60 years,” says Yuri Ivanishin. “In my memory, the way it is done today, the last time the city was put in order for its 200th anniversary. It seems that even then they managed to do less and then did nothing at all. And it’s true. The construction of kindergartens is one of the main components of the national project Demography. Today, in 18 Crimean municipalities, there is no queue for children’s vouchers, while in others it has decreased.

Over the years, more than 100 kindergartens have been built in Crimea, with more than 15,000 places. And this year 46 more will be delivered, and then the concept of “queuing up for a ticket” will disappear from everyday life, probably forever.

Sport and physical education have become one of the priorities in Crimea over the years. The republic sets an ambitious goal: by 2024, involve more than half of the population of the peninsula in active activities in sports fields, pavilions and stadiums. And for this a lot is being done.

In Simferopol, the Palace of Water Sports, built as part of the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project “Demography”, is preparing for the opening. “The pool complies with all the rules of the International Swimming Federation. It is possible to hold competitions of Russian and international level,” said Ilya Agureev, head of the contracting organization. The three-storey building is equipped with three swimming pools. 204 people will be able to use them at the same time, the complex will be able to receive more than 3.2 thousand every day.

Do not forget about football in the Crimea, despite the difficulties in relations with FIFA and UEFA. In 2014, they insisted on the exclusion of Crimean clubs from participation in tournaments of the Russian Football Federation (RFU). And since 2015 there is the Crimean Football Union. There is hope that this year the situation will change, and in the new season the Crimean clubs will take part in the tournaments of the Russian Football Federation.

Help “RG”

In Crimea, the total amount of financing for regional projects until 2024 exceeds 83 billion rubles. Of these, 50 billion come from the federal budget.

“In Crimea, 12 national and 47 regional projects are being implemented,” said Yury Gotsanyuk, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea. “In 2022, more than 19.3 billion rubles have already been invested in new facilities. much more . We have used 87% of the allocated funds. The pace is good, all tasks will be completed.”

Medicine

Doctors have new options

Crimean health care is also being massively upgraded. In 2022, more than 100 units of high-tech equipment were delivered within the framework of the national Health project.

Vascular centers, primary vascular departments and hospitals that care for patients with oncological diseases have been equipped with them. For example, in the Kerch No. 1 hospital named after him. NI Pirogov bought a surgical microscope worth more than 40 million rubles. The device was installed in the neurosurgery department. And doctors can now perform operations with the highest precision. Republican Clinical Hospital that bears the name EN. Semashko also installed new equipment for the rehabilitation department for patients with dysfunction of the central nervous system. Its total cost is more than 120 million rubles.

After a stroke, he couldn’t talk or walk. Thanks to the new equipment, the results after the treatment are the most encouraging, say the doctors

One of the first patients to undergo treatment here after a stroke was unable to speak or walk, said Anna Dvornichenko, head of the department. The results of the treatment are the most encouraging. “Thanks to the most modern equipment, we were able to provide high-tech medical care for the first time,” explained Anna Dvornichenko.

After the modernization of hospitals, many Crimean doctors were able to perform a large number of high-tech operations. For example, on the basis of the Simferopol Emergency Clinical Hospital No. 6, for the first time in Crimea, a vagus nerve stimulator was implanted. This is a modern low-traumatic method of treating epilepsy, aimed at reducing the frequency of seizures and improving the quality of life of patients.

“Previously, such surgical interventions were carried out only in federal institutions,” said Dmitry Dedkov, an independent chief neurosurgeon at the Crimean Ministry of Health. “So far, only one operation for epilepsy has been performed in Crimea. It was precisely resection, classic microsurgery. Now this is an operation on a slightly different level.”
