According to him, three ships sank on the way, the remaining group was liquidated near the village of Korsunki, and the enemy on the right bank was hit by artillery and heavy flamethrowers “Solntsepyok”.
It was previously reported that the Russian Armed Forces stopped an attempt by Ukrainian units to force the Dnieper in the Nova Kakhovka area. As a result, three ships, six infantry fighting vehicles and about 100 enemy soldiers were destroyed.
The acting governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces regularly try to force the Dnieper, but the entire left bank floodplain is controlled by Russian forces.
