“For the time being, the combat clashes, which lasted for more than eight hours, have ceased. The enemy already carried out a forceful reconnaissance in this area, but today it was more active and massive,” Rogov said.
As the head of the Zaporozhye public movement “We are with Russia” noted, all attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through the front line have been frustrated, and a large-scale offensive by Ukrainian troops has not been recorded.
Earlier, Rogov reported that regular units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, together with Polish mercenaries, tried to break through in the direction of Zaporozhye, but Russian forces drove the enemy back.
According to Rogov, Ukrainian troops are investigating the line of defense, as well as preparing the RF Armed Forces to repel a more massive attack.
