He noted that earlier the enemy was preparing for an offensive, but now the tactics have changed dramatically.
“Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine urgently began to build fortified areas, build fortifications, which has not happened since spring of last year,” Rogov was quoted as saying by the agency.
The Ukrainians are building several lines of defense, including the nearest suburb of Zaporozhye.
Previously, Kyiv transferred part of the troops from the Zaporozhye sector of the front to the Soledar and Artemovsk area. This indicates that the situation in eastern Ukraine is changing, the initiative has passed to Russia.
