Vodka was produced 3.9% more: 84.06 million decalitres compared to 80.93 million decalitres in 2021. Of the strong alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages were seriously added, the production of which increased by 41.8% , from 9.8 million dekaliters to 13.89 million dekaliters. This category includes whiskey, gin, calvados, with import problems in 2022 due to sanctions. Production of other alcoholic beverages increased further, by 73.1%, from 4.59 million decalitres to 7.95 million decalitres. This includes, for example, rum and brandy. Sparkling wine production increased by 25.2%, from 12.92 million decalitres to 16.18 million decalitres. And the production of still wines increased by 9.7%, from 29.81 million decalitres to 32.69 million decalitres.
The fastest dynamic was shown by liqueur wines, whose production grew almost 5.5 times, from 199.4 thousand deciliters to 1088.9 thousand deciliters. And the production of beverages containing grapes with and without ethyl alcohol decreased significantly, by 43.7% and 29.9%, respectively.
As noted above in Rosalkogolregulirovaniye, the increase in the production of domestic alcoholic beverages in 2022 is a consequence of the “washing” of imported alcohol from the market.
