Residents of the central region of Russia collected and donated medicines, medical products and essential items for hospitals in the Kherson region.
“National Guard employees assisted in its delivery to its destination,” the ministry said.
The shipment was received by Vitaly Krylov, deputy chief physician of the Genichesk Central District Medical Affairs Hospital. He thanked the National Guard and confirmed the demand for the delivered medicines.
– The drugs will be distributed to hospitals in the region, – he said.
In addition, the National Guard ensured the delivery of more than 70 tons of humanitarian aid. 11 thousand citizens of 13 settlements: Berdyansk, Melitopol, Skadovsk, Primorsk, Energodar and others received basic necessities and food products.
Let’s remember that Kherson was founded on June 18, 1778 by the Russian Empress Catherine II and is one of the oldest cities in Russia and the cradle of the Black Sea Fleet.
