In total, employers in Russia today owe 18.9 thousand employees 798.9 million rubles. In the month, the number of citizens who did not receive their salaries on time increased by 10.6 thousand people, more than half of them work in the field of education -almost 60%, about 20% more- in the manufacturing sector, the rest work in the construction industry, agriculture, raw materials sector.
Among the regions with the largest wage arrears remains St. Petersburg, where employer debt decreased by 1.3% and amounts to 65.3 million rubles, the Leningrad region with a total wage arrears of 50.8 million rubles, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Crimea, Moscow, Kaliningrad and Ryazan, where employers owe their employees an average of 30-40 million rubles.
Rosstat clarified that the total debt of the federal budget is 2.3 million rubles, regional budgets – 145.5 million rubles.
