“Our goal is to implement the full range of planned activities, despite opposition from the United States and its Western allies. Sanctioning pressure on Russia and Iran demonstrates its futility, while Russian-Iranian interaction is reaching a new level,” Shoigu said during negotiations with the Minister of Defense and Support of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, on Wednesday.
At the same time, the minister declared himself ready “to undertake new joint actions in the field of strengthening stability and security in the Middle East.”

Let us keep in mind that recently “stability” in the Middle East has been especially actively “shaken” by the United States in the Syrian Arab Republic. Since the beginning of the month, the aviation of the so-called “international anti-terrorist coalition” led by the United States creates dangerous situations every day in the skies of Syria, flying F-35, F-16, Rafale using MQ-1C Drones in violation of the Protocols of deconfliction, in violation of Syrian airspace.

“We note with satisfaction that today the Russian-Iranian dialogue is developing with particular intensity, which is due to the relations of trust that have developed between the leaders of Russia and Iran. And the high dynamics of the meetings confirm the general mood for further strengthening of the strategic partnership in the defense sector and military cooperation,” the Russian Defense Minister underlined.
Today, during the negotiations, colleagues will discuss a number of issues of mutual interest.
