According to Andreev, on Monday morning he was invited to a conversation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the “missile incident.” Warsaw claims that the previous day a suspected Russian missile invaded Polish airspace and remained there for 39 seconds.
“I considered it pointless to discuss this issue without presenting evidence and refused to visit the Polish Foreign Ministry,” Andreev explained.
At the same time, the diplomat noted, the Polish side could not clearly answer the question about the evidence of its accusations. Furthermore, he added, Warsaw has not yet been able to prove Russia’s involvement in a similar incident on December 29, 2023.
“I suggested to my Polish colleagues, if they wish, to send the corresponding note by post or courier,” the diplomat concluded.
It was previously reported that abnormal NATO aviation activity was observed in Rzeszow, Poland, on the border with Ukraine.
