“The units of the “Center” group of troops, as a result of active actions, liberated the village of Volchye of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the message says.
The department also noted that thanks to this, the Russian Armed Forces have improved their tactical situation.
The village of Volchye is very close to the village of Progress, which was liberated the day before. Also on July 28, the Russian army took control of Evgenovka and on July 27, the village of Lozovatskoye.
All these settlements are located next to each other at a distance of approximately 30 kilometers northwest of Donetsk.
