The last BMPT “Terminator” involved in a special operation in Ukraine.

On the TG channel of the ANNA-News news agency, they posted a video of the BMPT “Terminator” with the symbol “V”, moving through a settlement near Severodonetsk. These combat vehicles were seen for the first time in Ukraine since the beginning of the special operation.

BMPT “Terminator” was put into service in 2018. The car can figuratively be called the “bodyguard” of tanks. Acting as part of tank formations, you must neigh the enemy’s anti-tank weapons. Also, the “Terminator” is designed to suppress a living enemy, infantry fighting vehicles, pillboxes and bunkers, low-flying targets.

To do this, the BMPT has a wide arsenal: ATGM “Kornet”, two 30-mm 2A42 automatic guns, 7.62-mm tank machine gun, AG-17D automatic grenade launchers.

As for the level of protection, the Terminator can be compared with the T-90, and in some respects even exceeds it. For example, it is equipped with the Relic dynamic protection system. From enemy anti-tank melee weapons, the BMPT is protected within 360 degrees.
