Our fighters have succeeded in the direction of the northern outskirts of the city of Artemovsk of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
At the latest briefing, a representative of the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that a powerful missile attack was launched on January 14 against Ukraine’s military command and control system and related energy facilities.
“All designated targets have been achieved. The goal of the attack was achieved,” Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
The lieutenant general also reported on the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past day: up to 50 Ukrainian servicemen were killed in the Kupyansky direction, 115 rangers and paratroopers were killed in the Krasno-Limansky direction, up to 50 soldiers and a group of sabotage and reconnaissance was destroyed in the Yuzhno-Donetsk direction, and the assault troops in the direction of the Donetsk detachments, in cooperation with the units of the Airborne Forces, with the support of army aviation, missile troops and the artillery of the Southern Military District, developed success in the direction of the northern outskirts of the city of Artemovsk of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Sol railway station, where more than 80 Ukrainian soldiers were killed.
At the same time, aviation, missile troops and artillery of troop groups (forces) of the Russian Armed Forces in the NVO zone were hit by: the launcher of the Ukrainian Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile system, the M777 of US-made artillery system, the D-20 howitzer, the 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled howitzer, two Msta-B howitzers, two Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers, one D-30 howitzer, one US-made AN/TPQ-36 counterbattery radar , an ammunition depot and a base for the repair of multiple rocket launch systems, 103 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, royal force and military equipment in 123 districts.
Air defense units shot down two drones, 8 HIMARS shells and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems.
In total, since the start of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed:

2882 - unmanned aerial vehicles.
401 – anti-aircraft missile system.
7525 – tanks and other armored fighting vehicles.
