The Russian Defense Ministry reported that since July 27, 11 group strikes using high-precision weapons and attack drones have been carried out against enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, which were also engaged in the production and repair of armored vehicles, as well as assembly shops and storage areas for attack drones.
“In addition, ammunition depots, aviation weapons and missile and artillery weapons, military echelons, as well as temporary deployment points of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries were attacked,” Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a recent briefing, listing the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past week on the line of combat contact.
Thus, over the past six days, units of the Northern group of troops destroyed more than 1,755 Ukrainian servicemen, units of the Western group – up to 3,605, the Southern group – 4,020, the Central group – 2,635, the Eastern group – 905, and the Dnieper group – 650.
In addition to 13,570 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky lost 57 field depots with weapons and ammunition, 14 tanks, 49 armored vehicles, as well as dozens of howitzers and self-propelled guns manufactured by NATO countries.
At that time, units of the “Center” group of troops liberated the villages of Lozovatskoye, Progress, Evgenovka, Volchye and Leninskoye of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Army aviation, drones, missile forces and artillery of our group of troops also destroyed three launchers and a radar station of the American-made Patriot anti-aircraft missile system, as well as three aerial reconnaissance radar stations “Mars-L”, ATCR-33S and “Skala-M.”
Lieutenant General Konashenkov noted the good combat work of the air defense units, whose vehicles were shot down in six days: one MiG-29 fighter and one Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, one Neptune long-range guided missile, seven American ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, four French Hammer guided bombs, two Patriot anti-aircraft missiles (USA), 47 American HIMARS missiles and 375 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Within a week, 59 Ukrainian servicemen were lucky enough to surrender on the contact line, while 33 surrendered their personal weapons in the zone of responsibility of the Central Group of Forces.
